Galaticos Blow Shot At Taking Over League Lead; Real Sociedad Still Hopeful For Survival

Two games populated Saturday's Spanish Premiera Division play:

At Santander:

Two successful second-half penalty kicks from Ezequiel Garay (73', 90') lifted Racing Santander to a 2-1, come-from-behind-home win over Real Madrid, denying the visitors a chance to take over the lead in the La Liga standings.

At Seville:

Javier Garrido's goal at 33 minutes provided all the scoring for Real Sociedad as the guests picked up their first road win of the league season, 1-0 at the expense of Real Betis.
