At Milan:
Ronaldo's double (14', 69') helped lead an AC Milan side which largely was made up of reserves (many starters are being rested with the upcoming Champions League semfinal series opener at Old Trafford this coming week) to a 3-1 home win over Cagliari.
At Genoa:
Sampdoria, with goals from Reto Ziegler (13'), Daniele Franceschini (83'), and Gennaro Delvecchio (89') defeated visiting---and relegation-threatened---Messina 3-1.
