CAF Champions League

Four games were played in the CAF Champions League's group stage on Saturday.

GROUP A:

At Kira, Uganda:

Patrick Kaddu scored the only goal of the match in the 83rd minute as KCCA defeated visiting Township Rollers 1-0.  Both clubs have been eliminated from the tournament.

2. x-Esperance de Tunis (GP: 5; GD: +4; PTS: 10)
3. z-KCCA (GP: 5; GD: 0; PTS: 6)

NOTE:  Al-Ahly had a win and a draw in two games against Esperance de Tunis.

GROUP B:

At El Jadida, Morocco:

Bilal El Megri (29') and Simon Msuva (75') each scored once as Difaa El Jadidi blanked visiting MC Alger 2-0.

2.     Difaa El Jadidi (GP: 5; GD: -1; PTS: 5)
3.     MC Alger (GP: 5; GD: -2; PTS: 5)

GROUP D:

At Manzini, Swaziland:

Lazarous Kambole produced a natural hat trick in the span of five minutes (39', 40, 43') as ZESCO United dominated Mbabane Swallows 3-0 on the road.

At Sousse, Tunisia:


Amine Chermiti's equalizer in the 87th minute lifted Etoile du Sahel to a 1-1 home draw with the August 1st club of Angola as the Tunisian club won Group D.

Dani Massunguna scored at 11 minutes for the guests.
