The playoff round for UEFA Champions League group-stage berths reached its' midway point on Wednesday with three games.
CHAMPIONS PATH:
At Bern, Switzerland:
Mislav Orsic's equalizer in the 40th minute carried Dinamo Zagreb to a series-opening 1-1 road draw with BSC Young Boys.
Melingo Mbabu scored for the hosts in the second minute.
At Budapest, Hungary:
Anastasios Bakasetas scored the winning goal in the 49th minute as AEK Athens defeated MOL Vidi 2-1 on the road in the opening contest of their series.
LEAGUE PATH:
At Amsterdam, Netherlands:
Donny Van de Beek (2'), Hakim Ziyech (35'), and Dusan Tadic (43') each scored once in the first half as Ajax Amsterdam took the measure of visiting Dynamo Kiev 3-1 in game one.
