Following its' All-Star break, Major League Soccer got back into the swing of things with ten games on Saturday.
At Atlanta:
Sebastian Giovinco (45'+1) and Tosaint Ricketts (90') each scored once to lift Toronto FC to a 2-2 road draw with Atlanta United.
Josef Martinez scored twice (53', 67') for the Five Stripes. He has now scored 26 goals on the season, one short of the single-season record that was set in 1996 (equaled twice but never broken).
At Montreal:
Yamil Asad's equalizer in the 70th minute lifted DC United to a 1-1 road draw with the Montreal Impact.
Matteo Mancosu scored for the Impact in the fifth minute.
At Orlando, Florida:
Dom Dwyer (45'), Amro Tarek (71'), and Scott Sutter (76') each scored a goal as Orlando City gained a 3-3 home deadlock with the New England Revolution.
Juan Agudelo (7'), Cristian Penilla (18'), and Teal Bunbury (76') each tallied once for the Revs.
At Frisco, Texas:
Valeri Vako Qazaishvilli scored twice (19', 88') as the San Jose Earthquakes handed FC Dallas their first home defeat of the season 3-1.
It was only the Quakes' third win of the season and their first against someone other than Minnesota United.
At Minneapolis:
Nicolas Lodeiro (PK-90'+1) and Will Bruin (90'+7) each scored a goal during second-half stoppage time as the Seattle Sounders, in dramatic comeback style, knocked off Minnesota United 2-1 on the road four their fourth straight victory as their unbeaten streak extended to seven games.
At New York:
Nicolas Mezquida (22') and Erik Hurtado (87') each tallied once as the Vancouver Whitecaps gained a 2-2 road draw with New York City.
Jesus Medina (45'+1) and Valentin Castellanos (46') each scored once for the Citizens.
At Commerce City, Colorado:
Sam Nicholson scored the winning goal in the 90th minute as the Colorado Rapids came from behind to upend the visiting Los Angeles Galaxy 2-1.
At Houston:
Diego Rubio scored the only goal of the match in the 74th minute to carry Sporting Kansas City to a 1-0 road victory over the Houston Dynamo.
At Sandy, Utah:
Damir Kreilach scored twice (45'+3, 75') as Real Salt Lake defeated the visiting Chicago Fire 2-1.
At Portland, Oregon:
Second-half goals courtesy of Diego Valeri (PK-58'), Dairon Asprilla (PK-84'), and David Guzman (88') carried the Portland Timbers to a 3-0 home victory over the Philadelphia Union as their unbeaten streak reached a franchise record-tying (MLS era) 15 games.
