Cristian Pavon (18'), Mauro Zarate (21'), Carlos Tevez (74'), and Edwin Cardona (PK-79') each scored once as Boca Juniors doubled up Club Libertad 4-2 on the road in game two and won their series with the Paraguayan club 6-2 on aggregate.
At Sao Paulo, Brazil:
Despite dropping a 1-0 game-two home decision to Cerro Porteno, Palmeiras still took out their Paraguayan guests 2-1 on aggregate.
