At Panama City, Panama:
Armando Polo scored the winning goal in the 43rd minute as Tauro FC defeated visiting Walter Ferretti 3-1 in the opening match of their two-game series.
At Tegucigalpa, Honduras:
Juan Pablo Montes scored twice (6', 90'+5) as Motagua defeated visiting Portmore United 3-2 in their series opener.
