After the series was deadlocked at 3-3 on aggregate after Santos de Guapiles registered a game-two 2-1 road decision over Portmore United, and with overtime dispensed with, Maalique Foster, Roberto Johnson, Venton Evans, Ricardo Morris, Jovan East, Chavany Willis, and Rosario Harriot converted their spot kicks as the Jamaican club won the penalty-kick shootout 7-6 in eight rounds to advance to the quarterfinal round.
At San Pedro Sula, Honduras:
Armando Polo's goal in the ninth minute enabled Tauro FC to gain a 1-1 game-two road draw with Real Espana and win their series with the Honduran club 2-1 on aggregate.
At Kingston, Jamaica:
Leslie Heraldez scored for Arabe Unido in the 29th minute as the Panamanian club, despite dropping a 2-1 game-two road decision to Arnett Gardens, still won their series 4-2 on aggregate.
