Europa League Qualifying: Burnley, Leipzig, Besiktas, Rangers, Olympiacos, Copenhagen, Trond Kids, Zenit Advance To Playoff Round

The third round of Europa League qualifying concluded on Thursday with 36 games.

CHAMPIONS PATH:

At Siroki Brijeg, Bosnia and Herzegovina:

Claudiu Keseru's goal in the 24th minute enabled Ludogorets Razgrad to gain a game-two 1-1 road draw and win their series with Zrinjski Mostar 2-1 on aggregate.

At Luxembourg City, Luxembourg:

Patrick Stumpf (7') and Stelvio Da Cruz (17') each scored a goal in the opening twenty minutes as F91 Dudelange held on for a 2-2 game-two draw with Legia Warsaw and eliminated the visiting Polish club 4-3 on aggregate.

At Cluj-Nopoca, Romania:

With Billel Omrani scoring twice (45'+1, 62'), CFR Cluj buried visiting Alashkert 5-0 in game two and ousted the Armenian club 7-0 on aggregate.

At Helsinki, Finland:

Abass Issah (20'), Daniel Avramovski (72'), Rafinha (OG-75'), and Goran Brkic (PK-90'+2) each scored once as Olimpija Ljubljana dominated HJK Helsinki 4-1 in game two and finished off the Finnish club 7-1 on aggregate.

At Reykjavik, Iceland:

Ziguy Badibanga scored the series winner in the 68th minute as FC Sheriff, despite dropping a 2-1 game-two road decision to Valur, still advanced on away goals with the aggregate score at 2-2.

At Trondheim, Norway:

Besim Serbecic (26'), Alexander Soderlund (34'), and Anders Trondsen (58') each scored once as Rosenborg dominated visiting Cork City 3-0 in game two and won their series with the Irish club 5-0 on aggregate.

At Marijampole, Lithuania:

A 0-0 game-two home stalemate was good enough for FK Suduva Marijampole as they knocked out Latvia's Spartaks Jurmala 1-0 on aggregate.

At Herning, Denmark:

Ayo Simon Okosun scored twice (62', 80') as FC Midtjylland defeated The New Saints 3-1 at home in game two and won their series 5-1 on aggregate.

At Nicosia, Cyprus:

Lucas Souza scored twice (79', 90'+3) as APOEL FC defeated visiting Hapoel Be'er Sheva 3-1 in game two and won their series 5-3 on aggregate.

At Elbasan, Albania:

Despite dropping a 2-0 game-two road decision to Kukesi, Torpedo Kutaisi still won their series 5-4 on aggregate.



MAIN PATH:

At Netanya, Israel:

After a scoreless series opener in Armenia, Dor Micha (55') and Eliran Atar (68') each scored a second-half goal as Maccabi Tel Aviv defeated visiting Pyunik 2-1 in game two and won their series by that same score on aggregate.

At Saint Petersburg, Russia:

Artem Dzyuba produced a hat trick (75', 78', PK-115') while Robert Mak added a pair of overtime tallies (PK-120'+2, 120'+3) as Zenit Saint Petersburg demolished visiting Dinamo Minsk 4-0 in regulation of game two to level the series at 4-4 on aggregate, then scored four overtime goals to finish off the Belorussian club 8-5 on aggregate (this after dropping their series opener 4-0 in Belarus).

At Larnaca, Cyprus:

Ivan Trickovski delivered a hat trick (8', 67', 80') as AEK Larnaca destroyed visiting Sturm Graz 5-0 in game two and completed their two-game whitewashing of the Austrian club 7-0 on aggregate.

At Rijeka, Croatia:

Patrick Mortensen scored the only goal of the match in the 83rdm minute as Sarpsborg 08 defeated Rijeka 1-0 on the road in game two and won their series 2-1 on aggregate.

At Burnley, England:

After a second 0-0 stalemate, Jack Cork scored the series-winning overtime goal in the 97th minute as Burnley defeated visiting Istanbul Basaksehir 1-0 in both game two and in the series on aggregate.

At Braga, Portugal:

Rafael Ratao (70') and Oleksandr Karavaev (83') each scored a goal as Zorya Luhansk gained a 2-2 game-two road draw with SC Braga, and with the aggregate score at 3-3, won their series with the Portuguese club on away goals.

At Reggio Emilia, Italy:

Duvan Zapata (71') and Andreas Cornelius (90'+2) each scored once as Atalanta blanked visiting Hapoel Haifa 2-0 in game two and dumped the Israeli club 6-1 on aggregate.

At Poznan, Poland:

Mbwana Samatta (19') and Leandro Trossard (PK-45'+1) each scored once as KRC Genk defeated Lech Poznan 2-1 on the road in game two and won their series 4-1 on aggregate.

At Basel, Switzerland:

Albian Ajeti scored the game's long goal in the 30th minute as FC Basel registered a second 1-0 win over Vitesse Arnhem, this time at home, and ousted the Dutch club 2-0 on aggregate.

At Belgrade, Serbia:

Nemanja Miletic (11'), Marko Jankovic (30'), and Svetozar Markovic (35') each scored once as Partizan Belgrade defeated visiting FC Nordsjaelland 3-2 in game two and won their series 5-3 on aggregate.

At Molde, Norway:

Erling Braut Haland scored twice (35', 82') as Molde dominated visiting Hibernian 3-0 in game two and knocked off Hibs by that same score on aggregate.

At Bucharest, Romania:

At Vilnius, Lithuania:

Nolito (6', 83') and Pablo Sarabia (7', 44') each scored twice as Sevilla destroyed Zalgiris 5-0 on the road in game two and won their series 6-0 on aggregate.

At Almaty, Kazakhstan:

Martin Nespor (19') and David Houska (51') each scored once as Sigma Olomouc defeated Kairat 2-1 on the road in game two and advanced to the playoff round 4-1 on aggregate.

At Vienna, Austria:

Christoph Knasmuller's hat trick (3', 79', 90'+4) carried Rapid Vienna to a 4-0 home demolition of Slovan Bratislava and a 5-2 series aggregate victory.

At Bordeaux, France:

Maxime Poundje (54') and Younousse Sankhare (56') each scored a second-half goal two minutes apart as Bordeaux defeated visiting Mariupol 2-1 in game two and won their series 5-2 on aggregate.

At Copenhagen, Denmark:

Dame N'Doye scored twice (23', 64') as FC Copenhagen registered a second 2-1 victory over CSKA Sofia, this time at home, and won their series 4-2 on aggregate.

At Lucerne, Switzerland:

Lazaros Christodoulopoulos scored twice (23', 59') as Olympiacos defeated FC Lucerne 3-1 on the road in game two and finished off the Swiss club 7-1 on aggregate.

At Maribor, Slovenia:

A game-two 0-0 road deadlock with Maribor was good enough for Rangers as the Scottish club won their series 3-1 on aggregate.

At Rotterdam, Netherlands:

Antonio Mance scored for Trencin in the ninth minute as the Slovak club gained a 1-1 game-two road draw with Feyenoord Rotterdam and won their series 5-1 on aggregate.

At Ghent, Belgium:

Taiwo Awoniyi (13'), Roman Yaremchuk (84'), and Jonathan David (89') each tallied once as KAA Gent defeated visiting Jagiellonia Bialystok 3-1 in game two and won their series 4-1 on aggregate.

At Brondbyvester, Denmark:

Dominik Kaiser (69') and Kamil Wilczek (90'+3) each scored once as Brondby defeated visiting Spartak Subotica 2-1 in game two and won their series 4-1 on aggregate.

At Luxembourg City, Luxembourg:

Ivan Paurevic scored twice (51', 90'+4) as Ufa gained a 2-2 game-two road draw with Progres Niederkorn and took out the pesky Luxembourgian club 4-3 on aggregate.

At Linz, Austria:

Alvaro Negredo scored the series winner in the 90th minute as Besiktas, despite dropping a 2-1 game-two decision to LASK Linz, still won their series on away goals with the aggregate score at 2-2.

At Brest, Belarus:

Despite dropping a 1-0 game-two road decision to Dynamo Brest, Apollon Limassol still won their series 4-1 on aggregate.

At Craiova, Romania:

Marcel Sabitzer's goal in the 39th minute enabled RB Leipzig to gain a game-two 1-1 road draw with Univeristatea Craiova, good enough for the German club to win their series 4-2 on aggregate.
