In, perhaps, the most anticipated match of the group stage of this tournament, the United States and England battled to a 1-1 deadlock. Steven Gerrard scored for the Three Lions in the 4th minute. But Clint Dempsey (that's him, celebrating above) , thanks to a big-time blunder by goalkeeper Robert Green (also shown, below), scored the equalizer in the 40th minute.
