2010 FIFA World Cup, Group E: Dutch Advance To Knockout Stage; Lions Not So Indomitable As Danes Eliminate Cameroon

All four teams in Group E of the World Cup played their second matches in South Africa on Saturday.

At Durban:



Wesley Sneijder (that's him celebrating) scored the only goal of the match at 53 minutes as the Netherlands defeated Japan 1-0 and clinched a berth in the knockout stage, becoming the first nation to do so.

At Pretoria:

Goals from Nicklas Bendtner (33') and Dennis Rommedahl (61', that's him applauding at the end of the match) enabled Denmark to come from behind and defeat Cameroon 2-1, making the Indomitable Lions the first team to be eliminated from the tournament.
