2010 FIFA World Cup, Group C: Slovenia Tops Algeria To Move Atop Group Standings

One game was played on Sunday in Group C as the World Cup continued in South Africa.

At Polokwane:

Robert Koren scored the only goal of the match at 79 minutes as Slovenia moved atop the Group C standings with their first ever World Cup finals win, 1-0 over ten-man Algeria.  That's him mobbed by teammates in this Associated Press photo taken by Marcio Jose Sanchez.
