FIFA 2010 World Cup, Group G: Portugal Annihilates---And Eliminates---North Korea

One game in Group G play was played on Monday in South Africa as the World Cup continued.

At Cape Town:



Tiago scored twice (60',  89') and Cristiano Ronaldo added a goal (87'), all as part of a six-goal second-half blitzkrieg as Portugal brass knuckled North Korea 7-0, eliminating the Asian country from the tournament and all but assuring themselves a berth in the knockout stage.  Pictured here are Tiago, after scoring his first goal, celebrating with Cristiano Ronaldo.
