2010 FIFA World Cup, Group G: Brazil And Portugal Battle To Scoreless Draw And Advance

Friday marked the final day of group stage play in World Cup played in South Africa, including two games in Group G.

At Nelspruit:

Yaya Toure (14'), Romaric (20'), and Salomon Kalou (82') each tallied once as Ivory Coast smothered North Korea 3-0.  Even with the win, the Elephants were unable to advance from the group stage.  Pictured here is Seydou Doumbia scoring a goal for the Elephants that was later disallowed.
